Ante-natal Consultations

Pregnant women often spend so much time preparing themselves for the anticipated birth, setting up the nursery or buying the right pram. But we often overlook one of the most complex aspects of becoming a mother, which is how to feed your baby!

I believe every woman should be well educated and prepared in pregnancy for breastfeeding, and the challenges that may (or may not) arise.

Antenatal Consultations are offered to any pregnant woman, but in particular if you:

  • have had previous breast surgery (augmentation, reduction, cyst removal)

  • have gestational diabetes

  • have flat or inverted nipples

  • are pregnant with twins or multiples

  • had previous breastfeeding or supply issues

  • if you have any concerns about your ability to breastfeed

Cost: Services are fully bulk-billed (for Medicare card holders).
